Job description:
 
The Junior Product Engineer will participate in the characterization and evaluation of Velox Semiconductor components, including reliability testing. Under the direction and assistance of Senior Engineers, this person will develop test programs, coordinate and conduct multiple reliability tests and report on results to an extended team of engineers. This person will be also participating in root cause investigations of product quality and reliability issues.  

A person in this position will be a part of a dynamic team developing new generation of power devices. Ideal candidate should have a desire to gain deep knowledge of the semiconductor device test and fabrication and reliability.  

Ability to work in the fast paced environment of a start-up company, be a team player, good communication skills and capability to drive development of the devices is essential.
 
 
The specific skills of the candidate that we looking for are:

• Knowledge of test equipment for electronic devices.
• Simple circuit board analysis, fabrication and test.
• Capable of simple programming using Labview or similar software.
• Knowledge of software for data analysis (Origin, JMP, or similar).
• Capable of conducting reliability testing and failure analysis.
• Familiar with the capabilities of failure analysis equipment and techniques such as SEM, EDX, Photoemission, FIB, Thermal Imaging, Auger Analysis, CSAM, Plasma Etching, Curve Tracer and other advance techniques used in the field.
